Qualified pedagogical assistance
My services are for people over 21 years old who have been diagnosed with autism (often in conjunction with ADHD) or ADHD and live in Hamburg. People who contact me need support that is both trustworthy and understanding. As a social worker who is also diagnosed with autism, I can be a partner on equal footing, committed to helping those affected find their way to a more fulfilling life. I offer individual counseling and support in areas such as dealing with authorities, therapeutic and medical care, finding solutions to everyday problems, housing issues, developing career prospects, choosing education and professions, and, if desired, support in establishing self-employment, among many others. I place great importance on a calm and safe atmosphere, free from overwhelm and sensory overload. My services are available to those receiving a "Personal Budget" from the Center for Participation (formerly the Integration Assistance Office) and to self-paying clients. My services can also be billed through the long-term care insurance program.
First introductory meeting
In an initial consultation, we will discuss together what a productive and trusting collaboration can look like. This will allow us to determine which type of support is best suited to your individual needs. Sometimes a few consultations are sufficient, sometimes short-term support, and sometimes long-term support. Please bring your diagnosis(es) to the appointment in printed form so that we can address your specific requirements directly.
Advice for professionals
I offer professionals in the social sector individual and practical advice on issues related to autism and ADHD in adulthood, not only in the field of qualified educational assistance or ASP support. Here you have the rare opportunity to ask questions of an autistic person who has worked in a wide variety of social fields for many years. You will gain insights from different perspectives, allowing you to expand your work with sound knowledge and open up new possibilities for your professional life.
Free self-help groups
Kleine und überschaubare Selbsthilfegruppen für Menschen ab 21 Jahren mit der Diagnose Autismus.
Aufgrund vermehrter Anfragen nach Einzelberatungen und Assistenzplätzen wird es momentan leider keine Selbsthilfegruppen in der Villa der Möglichkeiten in Fuhlsbüttel mehr geben.
Als staatlich anerkannte Erzieherin und Diplom-Sozialpädagogin verfüge ich über langjährige Erfahrung in der Begleitung von Menschen unterschiedlichen Alters und in vielfältigen Lebenssituationen.
Besonders geprägt hat mich meine Tätigkeit als ASP-Unterstützerin, bevor ich mich schließlich aufgrund meiner eigenen Autismus-Diagnose auf die Arbeit mit Menschen im Autismus-Spektrum und ADHS spezialisiert habe.
Weitere Themen, die die vielen Begegnungen in diesem Zusammenhang begleiten sind Hochbegabung und Synästhesie. Damit verbunden naturgemäß eine ausgeprägte Kreativität, die darauf wartet, zum Leben erweckt zu werden bzw. einen größeren Raum zu erhalten. Mir ist es ein großen Anliegen behilflich zu sein, die oft versteckten und verdeckten Potentiale meiner Klientinnen und Klienten auf einen guten Weg zu bringen.
